UTENA: The Rose Duelist

So I've been willing to do Utena fanart for a few years now. I was moving more towards revamping the old one from 2008 and using it for Draw It Again Meme than starting a new one from scratch.

But recently I've found this contest fav.me/d70fio0 and it spurred me to finally give this Utena fanart idea a try.

I could use this coloring style that fits Mahou Shoujo theme perfectly but is of no use when drawing most of my OCs. I think I should come up with a Mahou Shoujo OC then  

I love Kakumei Shoujo Utena for its magic, the vibes it gives and Chiho Saitō's drawing style. Oh yeah and it's yuri.
